Ingredients
Scale
Steak and Seasoning
- 2 steaks, strip, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 teaspoons steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Vegetables
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 2 zucchini, chopped
- 10 ounces grape tomatoes, halved
Pasta and Sauce
- 18 ounces fresh cheese tortellini
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded, plus more for garnish
- ¼ cup Buffalo Wild Wings parmesan garlic sauce
Garnish
- Parsley, fresh chopped, for optional garnish
Instructions
- Season the Steak: Season the steak bites evenly with the steak seasoning and set them aside to absorb the flavors.
- Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak pieces and cook without stirring for 2 minutes to achieve a good sear, then stir and continue cooking for another 2 minutes until the steak is golden brown on all sides.
- Sauté the Vegetables: Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and halved grape tomatoes to the skillet with the steak. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables have softened and released their aroma.
- Cook the Tortellini: Pour the cheese tortellini and chicken broth into the skillet. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes, or until the tortellini is tender and cooked through, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Add the Sauces and Cheese: Stir in the shredded parmesan cheese and the Buffalo Wild Wings parmesan garlic sauce until everything is well combined and heated through, creating a creamy coating over the steak, vegetables, and pasta.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley and additional parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use fresh cheese tortellini for a tender and creamy pasta texture; frozen or dried tortellini will alter cooking times.
- Steak seasoning can be substituted with a mix of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika if unavailable.
- Adjust the amount of parmesan garlic sauce based on your preference for creaminess and flavor intensity.
- Add zucchini to increase vegetable content and add texture, but you may omit or substitute with mushrooms or spinach.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the vegetables.
